We are very excited that the Ministry of Tourism (India) and Google+ have partnered to take the Incredible India campaign to the world and celebrate the visual beauty of India through Google+ Photos. The best pictures shared from around the world on Google+, with the hashtag #IncredibleIndia, will be curated and shared on a special landing page on google.com. You can also see the buzzing live photostream within Google+ by searching for #IncredibleIndia.
Incredible India is known for showcasing the best that India has to offer, and now, the Ministry of Tourism (India) invites professionals, prosumers and amateur photographers from around the world to share their view of India with a 6-week long global photography competition on Google+.
Three international photographers will be chosen by the Ministry of Tourism (India) to become their privileged guests. These guests will get a week’s holiday (with travel & lodging expenses covered) to capture the destination of their choice for Incredible India. There are also similar trips to be be won each week for Indian photographers.
So, whether you are a proud Indian, or if you’ve ever visited India and have a picture, a panorama, a #Photosphere or even an #AutoAwesome, here are the three simple steps between being the owner of a beautiful photograph and the next Incredible India photographer:
2. In your ‘Home’ stream, click on the ‘Photos’ icon to upload your picture (make sure you took it!)
3. Add the the hashtag #IncredibleIndia and share it with everyone (i.e. ‘Public’). And, that’s it!
You can follow the Incredible India on Google+ to catch everything being shared from around the world and stay updated with weekly winners and other surprise updates.
