If you’re a fan of the Google Doodle and love the way Google has fun with its logo then here’s your chance to showcase your creativity on the Google Homepage. With the launch of the annual Doodle 4 Google contest today we invite bright young minds of India to send in their Doodles. Draw your version of the Google logo and get an opportunity to come to Delhi for the Doodle 4 Google event in November.
This year we are looking for doodles which show India’s “Unity in Diversity”. India has myriad diversity yet a unique unity that binds us together and this year we are inviting children from ages 5-16 to put on their thinking hats, get out their colors and get creative with the Google logo.
Last year we asked young doodlers across India to describe what they thought India's biggest contribution to the world has been. With 5 different musical instruments, 7-year old Varsha Gupta from Ryan International School, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh made this winning doodle.
Participating in Doodle4Google 2012 is simple! Just visit www.google.co.in/doodle4google, download the form, doodle and submit it. Just make sure your entries reach us by October, 23 2012. We’ll also be visiting a few hundred schools in 40 cities across India to collect your entries, so watch out for the Google team!
The winning doodle goes on the Google India homepage on Children’s Day (November 14th, 2012) and will be featured on a special color pack and drawing books from our partners Classmate.
And, if you are a teacher, parent, uncle or elder sibling reading this, its time to tell the little one’s about doodle4google, help them with downloading the form and submitting it.
